Caerus Summer Mini-Class in July

Hi everyone,

I hope everyone is having a great summer.  I've been enjoying catching up on some reading and doing some much needed house/yardwork.

Most of you are may already aware of the following free class but I'd like to invite you all personally.  If anyone would like to hang out with us next Saturday afternoon and enjoy a really fun class, we'd love to see you.  Also, please bring a friend!  Do you know anyone who might be interested in taking a fantastic English, Math, History or Science class?  If so, bring them along (or forward them this email….or both)!

Last but not least, we'd really appreciate it if you would take the time to pass this down any group lists of Facebook groups you may be on.

Thanks again everyone.  Hope to see you next week!

Summer Mini-Class Scheduled for July

Were you interested in attending the free summer mini-class Navigation: Exploration and Discovery, but were unable to do so?  Then you are in luck!  Our June class went so well that we've decided to run the class for a second time.

The summer mini-class is designed for the student who is potentially interested in taking classes at Caerus Academy this fall, but would like a chance to "get their feet wet" first.

Join Rob Rich, Jen Mueller, and Jim Mueller on Saturday, July 6, from 1:00-2:30 p.m. for our summer mini-class on Navigation: Exploration and Discovery.

Spend a lively and entertaining hands-on afternoon with us as we cover the fascinating history, science, and math surrounding the topic of navigation. Discover how sailors learned to reliably navigate the dangerous oceans. Learn how magnetism was crucial to navigation--and make your own working compass. Become your own Captain--learn to use the compass rose and the chart legend to plot a nautical course on your own full-sized coastline chart.

This class is being offered free of charge, but space is limited.  If you are interested in signing up, please visit our website to register.

Classes are Filling
Registration is ongoing, and classes are filling.  Some classes are over half-full, and close to waitlisting. Visit our website to see our class descriptions or to register.
Please help us spread the word--we encourage you to pass along this information to anyone you think may be interested.

Enthusiastically,
The Caerus Team
